I love, love, love this image so, so, so much. It’s a moment that demonstrates the imperfect family and they are so very, very, very perfect.
This image could have been of my family. This has been my family or yours at one time or another. Right? RIGHT?

Not sure what makes this so perfect.
Maybe it’s the red sweater on the big smiling (most definitely teething) blonde headed boy?
Maybe it’s that he is so happy in his daddy’s arms?
or it could be that no matter how hard I tried, miss Paige wanted nothing to do with me and clung to mom any time I drew near?
(I totally blame this on her parents … I saw her picture with Santa Claus taken only a few days before. Camera equaled bad memories … Ha!)
I know it’s because they laugh so easily and love so honestly.
It’s because family is so sacred and that is a bond that is unbreakable.
Because a mother’s arms should always feel like the safest place in the world.
This is what makes this so perfect.
